I discussed the situation with jun at length and he has tried to reason with the factory. The factory does not seem to care since they were paid and are not taking any responsibility.Anyway, I am extremely sorry this has happened and need to make this right for you.
First, I am having a hard time finding where we charged you for the additional lenses. I only see where we charged you for the 5000 sunglasses and not the additional lenses. Not a big deal we just need to clear this up so we can get this done.
Here is what I am thinking. 1. If you have a credit with us I will refund that to you. I just need to find where we charged you for the additional lenses. 2. Additionally, I will refund you 50% of the cost for the glasses a total of $4277.50 and you keep the stock.
Let me know if this is agreeable.
Best regards,
Brian

Brian,
As of right now we have a huge mix up with the blue lenses. A few are the correct colour lenses while a majority of them are wrong and are too dark.
-Frame colours that have blue lenses are white, green and pink.
The gold and red mirrored lenses are are also not what our first sample product lenes were. They are far too dark.
I have gone through about 400 pairs of shades of which about 360 I've had to glue 1 or both side logos on while some don't even have logos
on them. I am confident that as we continue to go through and test each box this is going to be a patter with the rest of the order.
We also have credit for 535 Red lenses & 525 Gold lenses due to having to purchase 2000 of each coloured lens up front but only purchased 5000 pairs of frames. (Not sure how we will hand this)
If the factory wants to know how many are damaged/wrong lenses, well, As of right now the whole order is either falling apart or incorrect.
I apologize greatly if any of this email comes off offensive. I know this isn't personally your fault as you are based in Philadelphia and that when you are producing a product you will get a "lemon" once in a while but this is very frustrating and stressful for us when it seems the whole order is wrong, falling apart and has ink smudges.
Another concerning issue I have is we are working on 2 new frame designs and I don't know if your partners factory is capable designing a durable pair of sunglasses that holds up to either Smith sunglasses or Oakley's. (referring to the frame, lenses(polarized and non-polarized) and hinges)
Look forward to hearing back from you.
Blue Skies,
Matthew Cadieux
